Belgium Awaits Israeli Clarification on Gaza Building Bombing

Belgium remains without clarification from Israel regarding the suspected Israeli strikes that destroyed a building housing the Belgian Agency for Development Cooperation in Gaza City two weeks ago.

While expressing concern about the attacks on civilian infrastructure violating international humanitarian law, Belgium’s Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib noted that the Israeli ambassador had promised an investigation.

However, as of today, Belgium’s Minister of Development Cooperation, Caroline Gennez, stated that they have yet to receive a response from Israel.
