In a move aimed at augmenting the digital banking experience and facilitating seamless payments, Jammu & Kashmir Bank has unveiled two innovative products. The Managing Director and CEO, Baldev Prakash, officially launched the Bank’s Soft POS and Premium Debit Cards, featuring Platinum and World variants, during a ceremony held at the Zonal Headquarters in Jammu. The event was attended by Executive Director Sudhir Gupta, General Managers, Divisional and Zonal Heads, along with several other senior officials of the bank.

Expressing his satisfaction, the MD & CEO commended the bank’s management and workforce for their continuous efforts to improve customer experience through innovative digital offerings. He highlighted the competitiveness of these new products in terms of features, pricing, and overall customer experience, aligning well with industry standards.

The Soft POS, a revolutionary technology product, was specifically lauded for its potential to transform the landscape of business payments. With the widespread use of mobile phones in the country, Soft POS is expected to simplify, secure, and streamline transactions. The MD & CEO urged the operational teams to capitalize on these offerings to enhance customer service delivery, particularly on digital platforms.

General Manager (CCB) Narjay Gupta detailed the features of the Soft POS App, emphasizing its Contactless payment options for MasterCard, Visa, and Rupay networks. The app allows businesses to accept card payments in a contactless mode directly on their smartphones, facilitating quick and secure transactions. Additionally, the Soft POS App incorporates a Cash Register (e-Khata) feature, enabling merchants to record both cash and card transactions, offering convenience in expense tracking and data analysis for POS operations.

On the launch of Premium Debit Cards, General Manager (DLM) Syed Shafat Hussain Rufai highlighted the thoughtful design of two variants catering to specific customer segments. These premium variants boast higher daily purchase and cash withdrawal limits, along with exclusive lounge access at select Domestic and International Airports. The premium cards also come with enticing features such as free shopping vouchers, discount offers on golf services, a complimentary Wellness App subscription, and more, making them highly attractive for the target audience.
