In an intense face-off during the 2nd RoundGlass Grassroots Hockey League 2023 (Under 16 Boys), RoundGlass Tehang emerged triumphant after a gripping clash against RoundGlass Mithapur. The title was claimed through a nerve-wracking penalty shoot-out, securing a 4-3 victory after both teams ended level at 2-2 within the stipulated time.

Semi-final Journeys to the Final Showdown

Roundglass Tehang paved their way to the finals by defeating RoundGlass Sansarpur with a stellar performance, scoring 2-0. Captain Harshdeep Singh and Gurpreet’s contributions in the 8th and 24th minutes respectively propelled Tehang forward. On the other hand, Round Glass Mithapur clinched their final spot by securing a 1-0 victory against Round Glass Baba Bakala, with Bikas scoring a crucial field goal in the 14th minute.

The title match witnessed an enthralling battle between RoundGlass Tehang and RoundGlass Mithapur. Navpreet Mahay struck first for Mithapur in the 10th minute, taking an initial lead of 1-0.
