    NEW DELHI, October 10, 2026 [VoM News]: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Saturday appealed to protesters to maintain peace and refrain from violence during its planned demonstration in the national capital against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

    In an advisory issued to participants, the organisation urged supporters to avoid physical confrontations, threats, intimidation and damage to public or private property, regardless of provocation.

    “Do not engage in violence, physical confrontations, threats or intimidation, irrespective of provocation,” the CJP said.

    The organisation warned that vandalism, stone-pelting, arson and destruction of police barricades could endanger lives and undermine the purpose of the demonstration.

    Protesters were also advised against carrying weapons, verbally abusing or threatening anyone, or attempting to force their way through security barricades.

    Emphasising the safety of participants, the CJP asked protesters to move away from confrontations, alert coordinators if tensions escalate and assist vulnerable individuals in reaching safety.

    The organisation further urged participants to remain calm during police interactions, comply with lawful instructions and seek legal assistance if detained.

    Earlier, police sources had aaid that popular YouTuber and social media personality Dhruv Rathee was arrested from his home in Gurugram’s Sector 56 by the Delhi Police on Saturday morning ahead of a planned protest at Jantar Mantar against the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
