    J&K Authorities Deport 150 Bangladeshi Nationals Over Alleged Illegal Stay; Another Batch Expected In October 2026

    JAMMU, October 6, 2026,[VoM News]: Taking the stern action against the illegally residing Bangladeshi nationals, the authorities in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday have deported 150 bangladeshi nationals, sources reliable said.

    As per information available with VoM News,
    150 bangladeshi nationals were found allegedly staying illegally in the Union Territory, officials said.

    Further details state that the group was flown from Jammu aboard a special Indian Air Force aircraft to Bagdogra in West Bengal, from where they are expected to be handed over to the Border Security Force (BSF) for further repatriation procedures.

    Sources said the action is part of an ongoing drive by authorities to identify and repatriate Bangladeshi nationals found residing in Jammu and Kashmir without valid documentation.

    Sources have also said that another batch of Bangladeshi nationals is scheduled to be deported on October 7 is expected, but so far, officials have not disclosed the details.
