Vocational Trainers Protest Continues at Srinagar for 3rd Day, Vow To End system Outsourced.

SRINAGAR, September 26, 2026 [VoM News]: Vocational Trainers (VTs) staged a peaceful demonstration for the third consecutive day Saturday here in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, for ending outsourcing system in voactional education and bring the recommendations proposed by the Directors of School Education.

Protesting trainers assembled at Floriculture Park located near Sher-i-Kashmir Park to compel the Jammu and Kashmir government to resolve long pending service issues of trainers.

The Vocational Trainers have called for the scrapping of outsourcing, enhancement of service conditions and framing of a formal job policy that would bring more stability and job security to the vocational education sector.

Protesters added that their demands have already been supported through the recommendations put forth by the Directors of School Education concerned, and they only expect government to implement them.

“The matter is now upon the government and the Government of India to make a final decision and to put an end to the things faced by the Vocational Trainers for their work in J&K, they added.

People gathered and urged their representatives and others to stand up their demands at the appropriate place and lend support to their efforts to establish a permanent policy of Vocational Trainers.
