Kishtwar Rape Case; Accused Teacher Dismissed from Service

The J&K Government has dismissed government teacher Khalid Hussain from service under Article 311(2)(b) in connection with the Kishtwar POCSO case.

Education Minister Sakeena Itoo said that the safety of children is the top priority and that schools are institutions of trust.

The government reiterated its commitment to child safety: “No Compromise. No Exceptions.”

The criminal investigation and trial will continue as per the legal process.
