Jammu Kashmir Youth Services Department to Review Rehbar-e-Khel Regularization on September 1

SRINAGAR, INDIA, AUGUST 30 [VoM News]: The Jammu and Kashmir Youth Services and Sports Department has scheduled a meeting to review progress on the regularization of Rehbar-e-Khel (ReKs) personnel and other service-related matters in the department.

According to a meeting notice issued by the Youth Services and Sports Department on August 27, the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Youth Services and Sports Department, J&K, will chair the meeting on September 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Meeting Hall on the 4th Floor of the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar.

The meeting will primarily review the progress made towards the regularization of Rehbar-e-Khel (ReKs). The notice also states that the status of regularization and promotion of District Youth Services and Sports Officers (DYSSOs), Physical Education Lecturers (PELs), Zonal Physical Education Officers (ZPEOs) and Physical Education Masters (PEMs) will be discussed.

The Director General, Youth Services and Sports, J&K; Special Secretary to the Government, YSS Department; Additional Secretary (NA); FA/CAO; Public Law Officer; and Under Secretary (S) have been requested to attend the meeting.

The notice was issued under No. YSS-Adm/9/2023-02-YSS, with the reference number CC: 7113718, and is dated August 27, 2026.

The scheduled meeting is expected to provide an update on the status of regularization and promotion-related matters concerning personnel associated with the Youth Services and Sports Department.
