Libya’s Waha Oil says it contained leak on Zaqout-Sidra pipeline, pumping resumed after repairs

Aug 8 (Reuters) – Libya’s Waha Oil Company said in ​a statement on Saturday ‌it contained a leak on the Zaqout-Sidra pipeline within ​24 hours of ​detecting it during routine ⁠inspection and resumed pumping ​into the line ​at 4:00 a.m. after the leak was fully brought ​under control.

Waha’s daily ​output typically ranges between 340,000 ‌and ⁠400,000 bpd under normal operations, a source at the company told ​Reuters ​earlier ⁠this year.

Waha, a subsidiary of Libya’s ​National Oil Corp (NOC), ​operates ⁠as a joint venture with TotalEnergies and ⁠ConocoPhillips.
