68-year-old man critically injured in bear attack in North Kashmir’s Kupwara
SRINAGAR: A 68-year-old man was critically injured in a bear attack in the Haril Mawer area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara on Monday, officials said.
The victim, identified as Gulam Nabi War, a resident of Haril Mawer, was attacked by a bear and sustained severe injuries.
He was initially taken to a nearby hospital and later referred to District Hospital Handwara for advanced treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.(KB).
