According to officials, the young man, identified as Mehraj Ud Din, son of Javid Ahmad from Chitteybandy, was fatally injured when his scooty was struck by a vehicle.
The accident occurred under circumstances that are yet to be fully clarified. It was reported that the vehicle involved in the collision hit the scooty with considerable force, causing severe injuries to Mehraj.
Passersby and locals immediately rushed to the scene and attempted to provide first aid before quickly transporting him to the nearest medical facility.
Mehraj was taken to the district hospital in Bandipora, where medical professionals made every effort to save his life.
Unfortunately, despite the swift medical intervention, Mehraj succumbed to his injuries shortly after his arrival at the hospital.
