New Delhi, Sept 8: Streaming trends in India this week highlight a mix of international blockbusters, regional favorites, and evergreen classics, as per the latest JustWatch charts from September 1 to September 7.

Top 10 TV Shows – India

Netflix’s gothic hit “Wednesday” claimed the No.1 spot, followed closely by the ever-popular reality show “Bigg Boss” on JioCinema. Amazon Prime Video’s teen drama “The Summer I Turned Pretty” secured third place, while docu-style series “Alien: Earth” and superhero saga “Peacemaker” rounded off the top five.

Other strong performers included the mystery-horror “From”, HBO’s legendary “Game of Thrones”, and anime phenomenon “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”, which continues to enjoy a massive fan following across multiple platforms. Indian crime-thriller “Mirzapur” also re-entered the chart at No.9, while the global sensation “Squid Game” still holds relevance at No.10.

Top 10 Movies – India

On the films side, Netflix’s romantic drama “Metro in Dino” topped the list, underlining its continued grip on Indian audiences. “Limitless” (Prime Video) took second place, while Gujarati psychological thriller “Vash” drew attention at No.3. Action-packed “Kingdom” and Tamil release “Maareesan” followed at fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Other notable titles included “Soothravakyam” (Prime Video), political drama “Maalik”, Netflix’s steamy “365 Days”, crime thriller “Maargan”, and police procedural “Inspector Zende”, which rounded off the top ten.
