Hamas Rocket Attack on Israel

Israel experienced an unexpected and unprecedented rocket attack by Hamas, the ruling authority in the Gaza Strip, targeting its southern regions on Saturday morning. The attack resulted in casualties, with at least 700 people killed and over 2,100 injured in Israel, making it one of the deadliest days for the country in the last five decades.

Casualties on Both Sides

In the Gaza Strip, there have been nearly 500 deaths and over 2,000 wounded as a result of Israel’s counterattack against Hamas. The ongoing conflict has led to significant human suffering on both sides, with international concerns over the escalating violence in the region.
