GHSS Baggar (Doda) salutes the nation on the eve of its 75th Independence Day.
Beginning the celebration, Sh. Mohd Ashraf unfurled the Indian National Flag, which was followed by the singing of National Anthem.
Saluting the nation and its freedom fighters on the eve of its 75th Independence Day, the management, staff and students of GHSS Baggar (Doda) marked the occasion by holding a unique march past highlighting the cultural diversity of India. The parade was led by the students of the school’s (Boy’s & Girls wing) and witnessed the participation of students from various grades sporting the traditional attire of different villages of Assar Block.
Sh. Gulam Nabi Headmaster said that the collage is a tribute to the nation, its history, culture and heroes, while the parade aimed at highlighting India’s unity in diversity.
“The aim behind making the collage is to celebrate the uniqueness and richness of India’s history and culture and give it a tangible shape. Students and teachers of the school joined forces to identify prominent icons of Indian history and cultural tapestry. The entire school was involved in its making to instill patriotic fervor among the staff and students,” he said.
