GDC Bhaderwah Celebrates 75th Independence Day

GDC Bhaderwah celebrates the 75th Independence day on 15 August 2021 in the college campus with enthusiasm and patriotic fervor strictly following Covid-19. The festivity commenced with a brief introduction of the occasion by Lt. Prithvi Raj ANO NCC Unit GDC Bhaderwah.

It was followed by the hoisting of National flag by Chief Guest on the Occasion Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Principal GDC Bhaderwah.He was accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem by Cadets of NCC UNIT GDC Bhaderwah and March-Past. Dr. Sharma. In his address to the gathering spoke about the sacrifices of the people of the people of India for over two centuries to attain freedom from thpe British Rule.

The programme ended with cultural item by the NCC and NSS cadets and other college students. followed by Vote of thanks by Surinder Parihar, Programme officer NSS unit . All norms of social distancing and wearing masks were taken while holding celebrations.

He lauded the efforts of independent India in the field of science and technology, medicine, education, industries at the global level. He advised faculty and students to use our freedom for a better tomorrows. In his speech he, brought forth some nostalgic memories of Independence Day Celebration. The programme was attended by all Faculty members of the college.
