AISF Doda celebrates its 86th foundation Day

Doda: All India Students Federation (AISF) District Doda unit on August 12,13  2021 organized a simple but dignified function to mark it’s 86th Foundation Day. AISF well wisher Ishtiyaq Ahmed Dev was invited as a special guest, while Mohd Asgar Batt, former AISF leader was invited as the guest of honor on the occasion.

The Painting, Patriotic Songs and Stroy Telling competition was also organised on the occasion and honorary medals were awarded to participants.Apart from AISF members, a number of students attended the function, which was presided over by the District President of the Federation, Salinder Parihar Sarazi.  

The speakers elaborated that AISF Doda formation on August 12, 1936 and highlighted the role of the revolutionaries of the Federation in the independence movement.

Ahead of Independence Day ,Full Dress Rehearsal Held At Doda

Speaking on the occasion, special guest Ishtiaq Ahmed Dev said that the students who fought against British Imperialism before Independence and played a key role in the liberation of the country was AISF.  The most successful leaders of the country made their future bright and later they rose to great positions in the country. The struggle for the backward class of the society is still going on. In this movement, the young Revolutionary Shaheed – e – Azam Shaheed  Bhagat Singh sacrificed his life but did not bow down to the British power. 

Former leader Mohd Asgar Batt said that the country is still facing some difficulties. Efforts are being made to revive the socialist system. He told the participants that they should march ahead and fulfill the brotherhood of Bhagat Singh’s dreams and promote mutual brotherhood.
He further said that Mukesh Parihar Sarazi, a well-known student leader of Doda had given a new dimension to the student union in Jammu and Kashmir. But due to illness his activity stopped, but he still stands by his ideology.  He thanked the students for attending the 86th founding day of the AISF.

On the occasion, the students sang patriotic songs, highlighted the living conditions of Bhagat Singh and other freedom fighters, and a painting competition was organized.
